DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD NOISES

Repairmen have years of experience in identifying and fixing dishwasher issues that cause strange noises to come out of the appliance. The source of the noises is typically a broken pump housing, washer arm bearing or motor bushing. Since these are common malfunctions, you can count on us to repair them ASAP!

WATER LEAKING

There are primarily two reasons a dishwasher is leaking water. The first reason is there’s a problem with the door closure or latch and it will need to be replaced. The second reason is a failed water inlet valve that will need to be fixed immediately upon our arrival to your home. We have all of the parts to repair GE, Whirlpool, Sears and popular brands of dishwashers.

WON’T START

First, if a dishwasher doesn’t turn on, you be sure the dishwasher is plugged in and that none of the circuit breakers. If this isn’t the issue, the problem could be related to the door closure switches, thermal fuses, electronic controls or motor relays.

DOESN’T DRAIN/FILL

A dishwasher should fill up with water and drain water after the dishes are clean. A dishwasher won’t fill if there is a broken door switch or float switch or a broken water inlet valve. Your dishwasher will not drain if there is a broken drain pump motor or drain hose on the unit.

WON’T WASH DISHES

Your dishwasher is not of much use when the dishes are dirty following a cycle. The dishes will sometimes still be dirty when there’s a broken housing gasket, filter or water tube or spray arm. We have manufacturer parts available to repair common dishwasher problems fast.

DOESN’T DRY DISHES

The reasons to own a dishwasher is for it to wash and dry dishes. You don’t want to have to hand dry your dishes and silverware after a cycle. A dishwasher does not dry if there’s a broken rinse aid dispenser, heating element or thermostat. We are able to repair or replace manufacturer parts for the drying functions of all brands and types of dishwashers.

WON’T DISPENSE DETERGENT

For your dishwasher to wash dishes, it should be able to dispense detergent or soap throughout the appliance. This can’t occur if there is a broken bi-metal release, timer or wax motor.
